Applying actions to multiple assets simultaneously
It is possible to simultaneously complete a single action against multiple assets to help speed up the configuration process.
To apply an action against all assets, click in the box next to Asset in the heading column on the main display.
This opens a panel at the bottom of the display where configuration options can be applied (where applicable) to all of the assets. The total number of assets selected is shown together with the individual asset names in small print beneath.
From within this panel:
- Click ENABLE ALL to enable all of the selected assets.
- Click DISABLE ALL to disable all of the selected assets.
- Click
to clone all the selected assets. - Click
to edit the credentials of all the selected assets. - Click
(where available) to import the asset configuration from an external file. This operation can only be completed for assets of the same type. - Click
to export the configuration of all the selected assets - Click
to delete all of the selected assets. - Click CLEAR SELECTION to clear the current selection and start again.
To select just some assets (but not all) on which to complete the above tasks, keep the Ctrl key on the keyboard depressed and single left-click on the assets that you want to select for the required action.
