Preferences

The Preferences page allows you to configure your sessions to function in a way that's best for you. These are general preferences, such as setting the default homepage or dashboard. Preference settings only apply to the profile you're currently logged in under.

Getting There: In the Navigation Pane, clicktap Preferences under Account. If the menu is hidden, clicktap The Account icon..

NOTE: Each of the modules in HelpSystems Insite also have preferences specific to that product. For more information about those, see the online help for that product.

Follow these steps to change your general preferences:

  1. In the Navigation Pane, clicktap Preferences under Account. If the menu is hidden, clicktap The Account icon..

  2. Under Homepage, select the page you want to open when you log on to HelpSystems Insite.

    If you select "Dashboards," clicktap Look Up to select the dashboard you want to see (the dashboards from all the products are available for you to select). If you select "Default," the Server Settings page is displayed.

  3. ClickTap Save.
