Document Search

Document search is the default search in WebDocs. With a document search, users can search all documents in WebDocs by one or more of the following:

Document Type Folder Date Title Search keys Spool-file attributes (requires additional set-up)

 

All search fields in the document search, except spool-file attributes, are set up automatically in WebDocs and require no additional action on your part.

To allow users to search documents based on spool-file attributes, see Displaying Spool-File Information.

The document search is enabled by default. If you want to disable it, set the DOCSEARCH data area to *NO.
