Link Search
A link is metadata for documents that is parallel to the regular search keys in a document search. A link search allows users to search this additional metadata. The metadata in a link has a title and 10 search keys just like in a document search, but you can set up multiple links per document, so each document can have as many sets of associated metadata as you need.
Decide whether to use link searches before you begin adding documents to WebDocs. If you add documents to WebDocs and then decide later that you want to use link searches, you will have to contact RJS Software for custom programming to back-fill the links for all existing documents. It is much easier to include links as you upload documents right from the beginning.
