How to Get There

In the Navigation Pane, clicktap Authentication under Settings. If the menu is hidden, clicktap.

What it Does

NOTE: Only the Insite administrator can access this link on the Getting Started page.

Before any of your users can log on to HelpSystems Insite, you must specify how to authenticate the users. You can choose to authenticate your users against a lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) server or one of your IBM i servers.

The settings on this screen also allow you to set the session timeout, define the authentication method, and enable guest logins.
