Setting Up Searching

There are three ways that you can set up for users to search for documents. It can be difficult, costly, or time-consuming to set up some searches after documents are already in WebDocs. So, before you start using WebDocs, read through the descriptions of all three searches and decide which ones you need.

Document Search - The most basic, default search for documents, based on Document Type, title, and search keys.

Link Search - Parallel metadata for documents that you set up for searching.

Full-Text Search - A search on the full text of documents.

Note: If you have performance issues with WebDocs searches, contact RJS Software to discuss the options for search optimization.
